Climbing has taken me to some amazing places and has made me experience extraordinary things. Whether its bouldering in sunny Fontainebleau or crawling along a blizzarding ridge in the Llanberis pass, climbing has provided a fun and friendly outlet for me over the past 10 years.
Climbing is a great part of my life. I love being outdoors and pushing myself to my limit. I wish to tackle bigger and bolder climbs to come, and I hope that this year I can share what I have learned with the new members of the club.

‘I’ve been climbing on and off for a few years, but it was at UoM where I really started outdoors and now it’s definitely become my favourite thing to do outdoors!’

Only started back in my first year (almost 3 years ago), but since then progressed from climbing once a week to having an epiphany that there isn’t much better to do that it.

I started climbing outdoors last year and have really enjoyed it due to the sense of achievement it brings as well as spending time in spectacular places like Glencoe and North Wales (plus its the only situation where eating an entire loaf of Soreen is socially acceptable).

Fairly fresh to climbing but love the sport. Climbing rocks!
Climbing obsessive. Like the big walls and the highballs, scarier the better!
